We are searching for a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and customer-focused individual to join our dynamic team as a Customer Service Representative. This role is pivotal in our food manufacturing facility, where you will serve as the first point of contact for our valued customers, ensuring their needs and expectations are met with the highest level of satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a knack for problem-solving, a passion for customer service, and a strong command over communication skills. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are eager to impact our customer relations significantly, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

As a Customer Service Representative, your duties will include but are not limited to:

1. Serving as the primary point of contact for all customer inquiries, concerns, and issues, delivering an exceptional customer service experience every time.
2. Collaborating with the sales and marketing team to understand customer needs and develop strategies to meet these needs.
3. Following up on trade show leads and maintaining these leads for future business opportunities.
4. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date customer records, ensuring all data is correct and readily available.
5. Utilizing your problem-solving skills to resolve customer issues effectively and efficiently, ensuring customer satisfaction.
6. Exhibiting excellent telephone etiquette, ensuring all customer interactions are professional and respectful.
7. Conducting data entry tasks as required, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
8. Working collaboratively with team members across different departments to meet and exceed customer service goals.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Customer Service Representative role will have:

1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service role, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
2. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members at all levels of the organization.
3. Strong problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
4. Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Office Suite and customer relationship management (CRM) software.
5. Excellent telephone etiquette, with a customer-focused approach to all interactions.
6. Proven ability to follow up on and maintain leads, with experience in a sales or marketing role considered an asset.
7. Outstanding interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and team members.
8. Exceptional listening skills, with the ability to understand and respond to customer needs effectively.
9. Experience with data entry, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
