Job DescriptionJob DescriptionLHH Recruitment Solutions is working with one of our clients looking to fill a Junior Accountant job opportunity for the corporate office located in Sacramento, CA. This position is 100% in-office. The ideal candidate will have both accounts payable and accounts receivable experience. The role will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of our organization and gaining valuable experience in the field of accounting.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial records, including but not limited to, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Reconcile bank statements and accounts on a regular basis.
  • Process and verify invoices, expenses, and other financial transactions.
  • Assist with the month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Prepare and maintain financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation to auditors.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Previous internship or entry-level accounting experience is a preferred.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team and meet deadlines.
 
Experience: 2 years of accounting experience (Accounts Payable Specialist, Accounts Payable Clerk, Accounting Assistant, Accounting Clerk)

Pay Details: $24.00 to $28.00 per hour
