Soliant has partnered with a local school district in the Cass City, Michiganarea to hire Behavioral classroom aides/Paraprofessionals for the current school year.

Thesesposition are full-time, following the school calendar. All evenings, weekends and holidays off. Positions are available in elementary, middle and high school settings.Monday - Friday when school is in session.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide directsupport
  • Collaborate with school staffto create a supportive learning environment
  • Support Special Education teachers in providing a productive leaving environment
  • Provide support with classroom activities, including group lessons, one-on-one instruction, and assessments
  • Help students with tasks like reading, writing, and math, adapting activities as needed

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with special needs childrenand/or adults
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; an associates or bachelors degreeis preferred
  • Experience working with children or adolescents with behavioral challenges in school settings is highly preferred

pensation and Benefits:

  • W2 contracted position for the 2024-2025school year with potential for contract renewal
  • Benefits include health, vision, dental, and 401(k)
  • petitive and negotiable hourly rate based on experience, range of $19- $29/hour depending on applicant
