We are seeking a dedicated Paraprofessional (PARA) to join our team in Gastonia, NC. As a provider of educational staffing solutions, we are committed to matching talented individuals with rewarding opportunities in school settings.

Job Title: Paraprofessional (PARA)

Location: Gastonia, NC

Job Type: Full-time, Contract

Job Description:

  • Provide direct support to students in classrooms under the supervision of certified teachers.
  • Assist with implementing educational programs and behavior intervention plans.
  • Support students with special needs, including those with disabilities and learning challenges.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other educational professionals to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and behavior.
  • Follow school policies and procedures to ensure student safety and well-being.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred.
  • Previous experience working with children or in educational settings is preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting student growth and development.
