Job DescriptionJob Description

Our non-profit client, located in Century City, is looking for a contract HR Assistant to join their team and for the ideal candidate, this role could go turn into a full-time position. In this role you will support the HR Director with various HR duties. You will be working in a fast-paced environment where your skills in ADP, recruiting, I9 compliance and I9 verifications will be put into use.


Responsibilities:


• Work on I-9s and Portability Conversion Forms (Life Insurance)

• Assist in maintaining an efficient and organized filing system

• Participate in recruitment activities such as screenings and job postings

• Take on additional projects as assigned by the management

• Maintain and update Donor Listings

• Collaborate effectively with all levels of management including the Executive Team

• Utilize Excel, One-Drive, DocuSign, Adobe, ADP, and job boards including Indeed and ZipRecruiter

• Learn and understand basic HR laws and HR systems quickly

• Display strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision

• Uphold confidentiality and comply with HIPAA laws

• Possess reliable transportation.

• Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now
• Knowledge of ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode
• Experience with HRMS system
• Familiarity with Ceridian software
• Competency in using About Time software
• Proven skills in auditing
• Ability to perform background checks
• Knowledge of benefit functions
• Strong customer service skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• High level of confidentiality and discretion
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred
• Previous experience in a Human Resources role desired
