LHH is actively seeking an experienced HR Benefits Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employee benefits administration, with specific experience managing open enrollment processes.

  • Responsibilities:

    • Manage day-to-day operations of group benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, 401(k), and other supplemental benefits.

    • Ensure the accuracy of all benefits enrollments, changes, and terminations.

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding benefit inquiries and issues.

    • Collaborate with benefits providers and brokers to resolve complex benefits issues.

    • Lead the annual open enrollment process, including planning, communication, and execution.

    • Provide guidance and support to employees during the open enrollment period, ensuring they understand their options and make informed decisions.

    • Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations related to employee benefits, including ACA, COBRA, FMLA, and ERISA.

    • Prepare and submit required compliance reports and documentation.

    • Assist with audits related to benefits and enrollment.

    • Monitor trends and best practices in benefits administration and make recommendations for program enhancements.

    • Maintain accurate benefits records and ensure timely processing of benefits-related transactions.

    • Generate and analyze benefits reports to identify trends, costs, and opportunities for improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

  • 3-5 years of experience in benefits administration, with a focus on open enrollment.

  • Strong knowledge of federal and state benefits regulations and compliance requirements.

  • Proficient in HRIS systems, with experience in benefits module management.

  • Certification in HR (PHR/SPHR) or Benefits (CEBS) is a plus

    Depending on the specific client, location, and role benefit may include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan. Available paid leave may include Paid Time Off, Paid Sick Leave, where required by law; any other paid leave required by Federal, State, or local law; and Holiday pay upon meeting eligibility criteria.



Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year
