We are seeking a Legal Secretary to support our growing team of agency temp attorneys. The ideal candidates will provide comprehensive administrative support to attorneys, ensuring efficient operation of the legal team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to attorneys, including managing pleadings, discovery, motion preparation, and e-discovery.
  • File and serve documents in California and out-of-state courts, with a preference for experience in the Court of Appeals.
  • Perform e-filing in state and federal courts.
  • Manage case management, docketing, e-discovery, document review, and exhibit preparation.
  • Ensure all documents are prepared with attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-intensive environment.


Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in filing and serving legal documents in California and out-of-state.
  • Experience with e-filing in state and federal courts.
  • Strong knowledge of case management, docketing, e-discovery, document review, and exhibit preparation.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
  • Excellent analytical and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as a self-starter.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience filing in the Court of Appeals.
  • Familiarity with Compulaw calendaring program.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Legal Secretary or similar administrative role within a legal setting.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
