An exceptional law firm in Pasadena is seeking a Litigation Secretary/Paralegal for a temp-to-hire position. The ideal Litigation Secretary/Paralegal candidate will possess 4-7+ years of civil litigation defense experience, proficiency in E-filing (both state and federal), and experience propounding and responding to discovery.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

  • E-filing in state and federal courts
  • Managing new case setups
  • Propounding and responding to discovery
  • Assisting in preparing for trials and depositions
  • Drafting, proofreading, and editing legal documents and correspondence

Required Experience:

  • 3+ years of civil litigation experience; defense experience preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Thorough understanding of the California rules of civil procedure
