Job Description

We are seeking an experienced instrument fitter to perform tubing on large compressor, low-pressure blower, and dryer units. The role involves bending primarily 1/4", 1/2", and 3/8" stainless steel tubing, with occasional work on 1" tubing. The fitter will determine the optimal tubing routes based on P&ID's and GA drawings, with much of the tubing used for drain lines on the units. Additionally, the fitter will assist in installing the instrument rack/control panel to the compressor units.

Responsibilities
  • Perform tubing on large compressor, low-pressure blower, and dryer units.
  • Bend primarily 1/4", 1/2", and 3/8" stainless steel tubing, with occasional work on 1" tubing.
  • Determine the best tubing routes according to P&ID's and GA drawings.
  • Install the instrument rack/control panel to the compressor units.
Essential Skills
  • 5+ years of instrumentation experience.
  • Ability to bend up to 1" stainless steel tubing.
  • Proficiency in reading P&ID's and GA drawings.
  • Capability to determine tubing routes without blueprint instructions.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience running tubing on compression units, subsea units, and control paneling.
