Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are offering a short term contract employment opportunity in Greenwood Village, Colorado, in the industry of finance. We're in need of a Staff Accountant who will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities, including but not limited to, general ledger management, bank reconciliations, and journal entries.

Responsibilities:
• Conducting thorough bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Maintaining and managing the general ledger, including updating and verifying financial data.
• Processing and handling Accounts Payable (AP), ensuring timely and accurate payments.
• Preparing and posting journal entries to keep financial records up to date.
• Monitoring and reviewing financial data for accuracy, and making necessary adjustments.• Possess strong skills in Accounts Payable (AP) management and operations
• Proficient in performing Bank Reconciliations
• Demonstrated experience with General Ledger maintenance and management
• Ability to prepare and manage Journal Entries effectively
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
• Experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
