Job DescriptionJob Description

We are in search of an Accounting Coordinator to join our team based in Iowa City, Iowa. This role is instrumental in our finance department, where you will be tasked with reviewing and processing invoices, as well as responding to inquiries from employees in addition to other clerical tasks that help to support the Accounts Payable team.


Responsibilities:

• Review and process company invoices accurately.

• Respond to inquiries from employees and resolve issues promptly.

• Use MS Excel to maintain accurate records and perform data analysis.

• Implement corrective actions to fix issues during the first round of review.

• Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.



• Proficiency in Accounts Payable processing and general accounting procedures

• Competency in Microsoft Excel

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload

• High level of accuracy and efficiency

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Experience in data collection, entry, and reporting with great attention to detail and confidentiality

• Previous data entry experience is a plus
