Job Details
We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Controller to join our team in the manufacturing industry. This is an exciting opportunity to take charge of the financial health across multiple locations. This position will be responsible for leading a finance team of up to 10 direct reports, and will work closely with plant managers and local finance teams. This role will involve developing and implementing financial strategies, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies, and providing financial analysis to support decision-making processes. The Controller will also be responsible for ensuring our company’s financial processes are accurate and effective, along with overseeing cost accounting processes to optimize inventory levels and minimize costs. Other responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies, including tax filings, audits, and financial disclosures; coach and mentor direct reports; identifying lean initiatives/cost saving programs; orocessing documentation, risk identification, audit, SOX for locations under supervision; and Fixed Assets management for all North America locations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 7+ years of experience with strong cost accounting, financial accounting, forecasting and analysis in a manufacturing environment
- 5+ years of management experience
- MBA/ CPA/ CMA preferred
- Must have experience with GAAP and Multi-site experience
- ASI/AS400 Systems a huge plus
