Job DescriptionJob Description

LHH is partnering with an innovative start-up in the cannabis industry, committed to delivering top-notch products and exceptional customer service. They are currently on the lookout for a talented and experienced Accounting Specialist with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join their dynamic team.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

  • Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

  • Conducting account reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.

  • Supporting the month-end and year-end close processes.

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.

  • Assisting with audits and providing necessary documentation.

  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.

  • Participating in special projects and process improvements as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 2+ years of experience with AP, AR and Financial Statements

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

  • Proficiency in accounting software and Excel.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay Details: $65,000.00 to $72,500.00 per year
