Position: Occupational Therapist (OT)
Location: Palatka, FL
Dates: August 12, 2024 - May 30, 2025 (includes potential pre/post planning)
Hours: Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated OT to join our team and provide essential therapy services across a district-wide setting. This role offers an opportunity to support a diverse group of students and help them achieve their full potential.

Your Impact:

  • Role: Full-time position in a dynamic school environment.
  • Setting: Onsite, working across district-wide schools.
  • Caseload: Approximately 45 students, with other OTs available within the district.
  • Focus: Delivering both direct and indirect therapy services to enhance students' functional skills across various age groups.

What You'll Do:

  • Assess and Plan: Conduct assessments and develop individualized therapy plans.
  • Intervene and Support: Provide direct therapy sessions and collaborate on indirect services.
  • Collaborate: Work closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate therapy into students educational experiences.
  • Monitor and Adjust: Track student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
  • Engage: Deliver engaging therapy tailored to the needs of each student.

A Day in the Life: Start your day by connecting with students and staff, focusing on their therapy needs. Mornings might involve one-on-one sessions or indirect services, while afternoons will be dedicated to therapy, collaboration with educators, and planning. Youll also have opportunities for professional development and team meetings.

What Were Looking For:

  • Licensure: Active Occupational Therapist license in Florida.
  • Experience: Previous experience in school settings is a significant plus.
  • Skills: Strong communication and organizational skills, with a passion for making a difference in students lives.
