Procare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School based Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team in Palatka, FL. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for helping individuals of all ages enhance their ability to perform tasks in their daily living and working environments. This role involves working closely with patients to assess their needs, develop personalized treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions to improve their functional abilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to determine their functional abilities and needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations.
  • Provide direct therapy services to patients to improve their motor skills, coordination, and overall functional abilities.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and strategies to support ongoing rehabilitation and functional improvement.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting progress and treatment outcomes.
  • Stay current with best practices and advancements in the field of occupational therapy through ongoing professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Florida.
  • Strong clinical skills with experience in a variety of settings (schools, outpatient, hospitals, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
