Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Reconciliations Specialist in Palo Alto, California. This role is within the architecture and engineering industry and involves a mix of onsite and remote work. As a Reconciliations Specialist, you will be responsible for handling various accounting and bookkeeping tasks, including account reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations.

Responsibilities:

• Handle account reconciliation tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Manage both accounts payable and receivable.
• Carry out bank reconciliations regularly.
• Maintain and update the chart of accounts.
• Ensure accurate data entry for all transactions.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for running macros to export data.
• Process expense reports and timesheets coding.
• Communicate effectively with employees across multiple locations.
• Utilize Deltek for various accounting functions.
• Participate in the month-end close process.
• Manage payroll and utilize QuickBooks as needed.• Proficient in Account Reconciliation
• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP)
• Knowledgeable in handling Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Expertise in conducting Bank Reconciliations
• Skilled in Bookkeeping operations
• Accurate and efficient in Data Entry tasks
• Proficient in using Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with Month End Close procedures
• Experience in handling Payroll processes
• Proficiency in QuickBooks software
• Working knowledge of Deltek system
