Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Environmental Compliance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all field operations are in compliance with permits, including road use permits, natural resource protection act permits, Corp of Engineers permits, etc.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in linear utility site work construction, including electric transmission, gas pipelines, DOT projects, or related construction fields. A strong understanding of Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs) is also required.

This position offers a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. Additional benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a 401(k) plan and paid time off.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with laws and regulations for wetland access, protected species, wood and debris disposal, site control, and soil disturbance.
  • Provide field technical support in multiple construction specializations, including field construction management, environmental compliance, erosion/sedimentation control, civil site work, and road construction.
  • Manage SWPPP for utility transmission construction sites.
  • Oversee site development crews during construction.
