Pediatric Critical Care Nurse

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate RN or LPN with pediatric critical care experience to provide specialized support for a nonverbal, non-ambulatory child.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor and manage the child's seizure activity, identifying and responding to various types of seizures.
* Administer G-tube feedings according to the child's care plan, ensuring nutritional needs are met.
* Accompany the student on the bus to and from school and provide care in the classroom setting.
* Collaborate with a second nurse to provide comprehensive and continuous care throughout the day.
* Provide substitute health office coverage across Loudoun County schools as needed.
Qualifications:
* Active RN or LPN state license.
* At least 1 year of experience as an RN or LPN, with pediatric critical care experience preferred.
* Strong proficiency in recognizing and managing seizure activity.
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
* Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
* Experience with G-tube feedings and pediatric care is preferred.
