Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Connections Health Solutions. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Assess individuals and document pertinent information, including Triage, Behavioral Health, Physical Health, and/or Substance Abuse issues.
- Provide education to individuals and their families regarding Behavioral Health diagnosis, medications, and treatments.
- Complete detailed Nursing Assessments and document pertinent information.
- Plan individual treatment as part of the Multidisciplinary Clinical team.
- Intervene with verbal interventions to diffuse out of control or potentially dangerous behaviors.
- Accurately transcribe Provider orders and administer medications as prescribed.
- Perform chart checks and sign off as a second noted on medications prescribed.
- Draw labs and provide wound care as ordered by Providers when required.
Qualifications:
- Graduated from an accredited Nursing program.
- Unrestricted active license as Registered Professional Nurse through State Board of Nursing or hold a multistate licensure privilege.
- Must be able to perform Safe Clinch patient restraint techniques.
- Working on ASAM 3.7, the RN shall have competencies and experience in conducting an alcohol or other drug focused nursing assessment.
- The Company has a mandatory vaccination policy. All successful applicants must be fully vaccinated, including showing proper documentation, or otherwise be exempt pursuant to the Company's exemption process prior to their start date as a condition of employment.
- Must be able to obtain a State of Virginia Fingerprint Clearance Card.
