Position Overview

In this position, you will:

Deliver exceptional orthopedic services by adhering to established medical protocols and best practices. You will facilitate a high volume of orthopedic consultations by ensuring that patients are well-prepared before their appointments, allowing them to fully engage in their treatment and understand their health conditions. You will provide comprehensive information, educational materials, and support to help patients follow their care plans as directed by their healthcare providers.

Key Duties Include:

  • Deliver outstanding customer service to patients, visitors, and colleagues.
  • Prepare patient records in the electronic health system to ensure all relevant documentation is accessible for visits.
  • Retrieve and display patient imaging for physician review during consultations.
  • Maintain well-stocked clinical zones with necessary medical supplies and informational brochures.
  • Guide patients to examination rooms and complete intake documentation, including medical history and current medications.
  • Prepare patients for examinations by performing necessary tasks such as dressing changes and obtaining consent.
  • Assist physicians during procedures and injections as required.
  • Create orders for diagnostic tests, therapies, and medications within the electronic health record.
  • Ensure patients comprehend their physician's instructions regarding medications and follow-up care.
  • Complete necessary workers' compensation forms and ensure proper submission protocols are followed.
  • Manage patient chart documentation, including secure disposal of sensitive information.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of clinical areas, including the replacement of disposal containers as needed.
  • Restock examination rooms and preparation areas for upcoming clinics.
  • Safeguard patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures set forth by Orthopaedic Solutions Management.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

About You:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • Certification as an Athletic Trainer or Medical Assistant is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CPR certification.
