Water Resources Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Water Resources Engineer to join our team in Tampa, FL. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the technical execution of water resource engineering projects, from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop technical approaches, cost analyses, and conduct hydraulic designs.
  • Analyze field and modeling data, interpret results, and apply them to project designs.
  • Prepare technical reports, proposals, and memos.
  • Collaborate with other technical staff members and coordinate with regulatory agencies.
  • Manage relationships with public utilities to ensure potable water supplies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Hydraulic or Civil Engineering.
  • 4 to 8 years of experience in civil or hydraulic engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of Florida regulations, particularly related to Water Management Districts and the Florida Department of Environmental Protection.
  • Experience with hydraulic modeling and analysis tools.
  • Experience working with public utilities on potable water supply projects.
  • Strong technical writing skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
  • Experience with integrated surface water-groundwater modeling.
  • Familiarity with DHI MIKE SHE or similar software.
  • Project management experience.
