Job Overview

Engineered Cooling Services is seeking a highly skilled Piping Superintendent to oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC piping systems. This role requires strong leadership and technical expertise in managing a team of technicians, ensuring compliance with project timelines, safety standards, and quality benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Plan, schedule, and oversee HVAC piping construction and installation projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Crew Supervision: Lead and supervise the HVAC piping crew, including pipefitters, welders, and apprentices.
  • Installation and Fabrication: Participate in the installation of HVAC piping systems, including chilled water, hot water, steam, and condenser water systems.
  • Quality Control: Conduct inspections of HVAC piping installations to ensure compliance with project specifications, mechanical codes, and industry standards.
  • Safety Compliance: Promote and enforce a safe working environment by adhering to company safety policies and OSHA regulations.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial and industrial HVAC piping installation, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Technical school or certifications in HVAC, pipefitting, or welding are preferred.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, proficient in reading and interpreting HVAC blueprints, piping diagrams, and schematics.
