Job Title: Slot Attendant

At BB Development LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Slot Attendant to join our team. As a Slot Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests while ensuring the smooth operation of our slot machines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Approve slot payouts within established limits and ensure compliance with regulatory agencies.
  • Perform minor machine repairs and maintain a working knowledge of all local jurisdictional gaming laws and regulations.
  • Provide prompt and courteous service to guests, including change, jackpots, and minor machine repairs.
  • Respond to slot machine issues in a timely manner and notify the Slot Shift Supervisor as needed.
  • Maintain slot floor security and report any suspicious activity to the Slot Shift Supervisor.
  • Participate in slot department special projects and maintain a working knowledge of all games to perform minor machine repairs and explain game play to guests.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a clean and organized casino floor.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in the slot department is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
  • Previous cash handling experience is preferred.
  • Basic math skills to make change with coin and currency.
  • Ability to walk the casino floor for up to 10 hours.
  • Previous customer service experience is preferred.
  • Upbeat personality and ability to communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members.
  • Knowledge of Title 31 procedures and ability to handle and secure keys within departmental guidelines.
  • Adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.
  • High School diploma or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Ability to obtain a Gaming license through the state of Maine.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:

The work requires some physical exertion, such as long periods of walking, recurring climbing, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting. The ability to stand for prolonged periods of time is also required. The work environment may involve exposure to prolonged loud noise.
