Production Machine Adjuster II Job Description

Olin is seeking a skilled Production Machine Adjuster II to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for the set-up, adjustment, and operation of production machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate multiple machines simultaneously, ensuring efficient production processes.
  • Troubleshoot and repair production equipment, utilizing precision and accuracy to resolve mechanical issues.
  • Transport raw materials from storage areas to production areas via forklift or other production transportation devices.
  • Use hand tools to make mechanical adjustments and repairs on production machinery.
  • Complete machine change-over and set-ups, adhering to quality specifications for various products.
  • Measure and record production part outer diameter (OD) length, utilizing quality measuring devices and computerized equipment.
  • Champion Lean Manufacturing concepts to ensure quality meets customer standards and satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and correct a variety of mechanical problems, with two years of related mechanical experience.
  • Demonstrated job stability.
  • Experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
  • Experience with hand tools and quality measuring devices is required.
  • Ability and willingness to work weekends, including overtime.
  • Must be able to pass a functional physical testing and use standard safety equipment and wear all required personal protective equipment.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds as required.
Location-Specific Requirements:
  • Assignments in the Rimfire facility require successful vetting as an Employee Possessor in accordance with U.S. Department of Justice and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
  • This position requires access to ITAR controlled technical data, and employment will be contingent upon the candidate's ability to access ITAR controlled technical data pursuant to an export license approved by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, if required.
  • Ability to pass a physical, drug screen, and background check if job offer is received and accepted.
  • Must be able to attend orientation and training on 1st shift before transitioning to either 2nd shift or 3rd shift primary assignment.
