Key Responsibilities

  • Proofread materials for brand voice, accuracy, and grammar
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in SEO and content marketing
  • Conduct keyword research and optimize web content for search engines

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in writing, editing, and working in a creative team environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A professional, positive attitude with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Ability to write for various media and audiences
  • Knowledge of best practices for writing direct-response copy, web copy, and technical copy
  • Creative concepting, strategic thinking, creative writing, and technical writing skills
  • Ability to organize, negotiate, and manage project schedules
  • Ability to provide high-level customer service to internal customers

What We're Looking For

  • Mastery of proofreading, revision, substantive editing, and line editing with a sharp eye for detail
  • Familiarity with the Chicago Manual of Style
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in English, communications, journalism, or related discipline
