About the Role

Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures, providing a safe and efficient environment for patients and medical staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain aseptic surgical fields, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and sterility.
  • Assist surgeons and other medical staff during procedures, providing essential support and equipment as needed.
  • Operate and maintain various types of equipment used in the operating room, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless communication and coordination during procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and technologies.
Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited program in Surgical Technology.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
