About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective care of patients undergoing surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Function as the scrub person, working under the direct supervision of an RN or physician to facilitate safe and effective care during invasive and operative procedures.
  • Ensure that the OR is safe, equipment is functioning properly, and that the operative procedure is conducted under conditions that maximize patient safety.
  • Facilitate a physician's performance of invasive, therapeutic, and diagnostic procedures.
Requirements
  • Associates Degree
  • Graduate of an Accredited Surgical Technologist program CST preferred or equivalent military training program.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a surgical technologist in the same area or in similar day-to-day situations in a hospital operating room setting.
  • AST membership preferred
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association, or ability to obtain upon hire

ProHealth Oconomowoc Memorial is certified by The Joint Commission as a Joint Replacement Center of Excellence. We offer the MAKOplasty and Anterior Hip Arthroplasty procedure to patients.
