Human Resources Manager

At US Foods, we're seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Manager to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a critical role in supporting the Area Director of HR in executing the area vision, direction, and goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement HR strategies to support business objectives and drive market success.
  • Lead recruitment efforts, manage onboarding, and provide coaching and consulting support to Area leaders.
  • Facilitate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with market leaders to ensure HR practices align with business objectives.
  • Maintain documentation relating to personnel activities and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 6 years HR experience with at least 4 in a professional role.
  • Strong foundation in core HR fundamentals and experience consulting with and advising small management teams.
  • Familiarity with legislation concerning employment and working knowledge of MS Office software.
  • Valid driver's license and motor vehicle record in good standing.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior employee relations experience and experience working in a collective bargaining environment.
  • Prior experience with affirmative action requirements at a Federal government contractor.
