Lead Project Manager for WMS Solutions

Interlake Mecalux, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and customer-oriented Project Manager to oversee the deployment of our Warehouse Management System (WMS) software, Easy WMS, across various client locations throughout the United States.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact among project stakeholders to facilitate the successful implementation of the WMS software.
  • Establish project schedules and budgets, setting milestone dates to ensure timely completion of tasks. Collaborate with internal teams and clients to guarantee adherence to project timelines and methodologies.
  • Assist in the preparation, evaluation, and follow-up of project deliverables.
  • Coordinate the efforts of Interlake Mecalux's software project engineers and consultants, tracking their progress throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Engage with clients to provide training and enhance their understanding of the WMS software functionalities.
  • Draft project documentation, including reports and correspondence, to communicate project status and address any challenges.
  • Confirm the scope of change orders with clients, supporting the technical and sales teams in assessing costs and negotiating terms.
  • Travel as necessary to fulfill project responsibilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Computer Science, Telecommunications, etc.)
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience managing WMS implementation projects, ideally in both manual and automated warehouse environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of logistics and supply chain operations.
  • PMP Certification and familiarity with agile methodologies are preferred.
  • Exceptional communication skills in English are required; proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 20% of the time.
