Position: Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)

Location: Maple Grove, MN

Overview:
As a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant at Soliant Health, you will be instrumental in assisting students from kindergarten through 12th grade in overcoming their speech and language difficulties. Your contributions will significantly enhance their academic and social experiences, fostering their overall development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluation: Conduct assessments of students' speech and language skills through standardized evaluations and clinical observations.
  • Therapeutic Intervention: Develop and execute tailored therapy strategies to address various communication disorders.
  • Team Collaboration: Partner with educators, parents, and other professionals to cultivate a nurturing environment that promotes student achievement.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain comprehensive documentation of student progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.

Required Qualifications:

  • Licensure: Must have or be in the process of acquiring a Minnesota SLP license.
  • Certification: ASHA certification is beneficial but not a prerequisite.
  • Experience: Previous experience in an educational environment is advantageous but not mandatory.
