Job Summary:
The Clinical Rescue Nurse Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the delivery of nursing services to patients across the organization. This includes Temple University Hospital, Jeanes Campus, Episcopal Campus, and Fox Chase Cancer Center.
Key Responsibilities:
- Rounds on all units to monitor and engage with bedside staff to identify patients at risk for clinical deterioration.
- Serves as an expert clinical resource to provide education and debriefing after an RRT/Code event.
- Conducts monitoring on patients downgraded out of Intensive Care Units to lower acuity units.
- Provides educational in-services as needed.
- Tracks, collects, and monitors metrics used to measure productivity and quality of care delivered in all areas of the program.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Required)
- 5 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an Acute Care setting (Required)
- 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in critical care, pre-hospital, or emergency nursing (Required)
- Current ACLS, BLS, and RN-LIC certifications (Required)
- CCRN, CEN, or PHRN certifications (Preferred)
