About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Controls Engineer II to join our team at Johns Manville. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing electrical controls engineering support for plant technical operations and capital projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement electrical control systems for plant technical support and capital projects.
  • Provide technical expertise for operations and maintenance teams to troubleshoot and solve issues with plant power and controls systems.
  • Develop and implement power and controls PMs, including IR studies and arc flash studies.
  • Collaborate with internal and external engineering resources to manage projects and ensure compliance with technical specifications and contracts.
  • Manage project budgets, forecasts, schedules, and deliverables to achieve project goals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or electrical engineering technology.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in control systems engineering in a continuous and/or discrete manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated electrical and control system engineering capabilities, including DCS, Allen-Bradley PLC, and HMI applications.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in the engineering and implementation of 480V and 13,800V power distribution systems.
