Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to join our Engineering team. The successful candidate will design, develop, and test electrical equipment, components, and systems for our customers in the oil and gas, chemical, and other industries.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical systems, including grounding, heat trace, lighting, and panel layouts
  • Size cable tray and conduit
  • Commission and provide post-startup support for engineering designs
  • Support customer contracts for 24/7 emergency response and preventive maintenance

Requirements:

  • BSEE with 7 or more years of relevant experience
  • Ability to design, develop, and test electrical equipment, components, or systems
  • Understanding of process control fundamentals
  • Ability to apply mathematical and engineering principles and methods to electrical system designs
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interface with customers
  • Ability to travel, sometimes overnight to customer sites
