Job Summary
The Cardiac Imaging Core Lab (CICL) at Brigham and Women's Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Echo Tech II to join our team. As an integral member of the CICL, you will assist with high-level, complex research including echocardiographic analysis and data quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform echocardiographic analysis of heart size and function in a high-quality, scientific, and reproducible manner.
- Implement and document technical QC/QA procedures, including the over-reading of measurements and the reproducibility of analysis.
- Assist with the creation, testing, and validation of study-specific databases and analysis software.
- Participate in lab-wide and/or project-specific meetings.
Requirements
- BS and Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) required.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in Echocardiographic lab in a hospital or outpatient setup.
- Experience in cardiac strain analysis preferred.
