Tufts Medical Center is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cardiac ultrasound procedures, including M-mode, 2D real-time imaging, and Doppler techniques.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform and interpret diagnostic cardiac ultrasound procedures
  • Assist physicians in obtaining and recording data for research projects
  • Maintain equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow infection control practices
  • Prepare patients for exams, explain procedures, and obtain clinical information from patient charts
  • Acquire and export three-dimensional echocardiographic data and perform off-line computer analysis

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Radiology or related field
  • Proficient in small parts, venous, and carotid ultrasounds and procedures requiring ultrasound guidance
  • Ability to work independently and seek assistance as needed
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
