Job Overview

The Deal Desk at IFS plays a crucial role in facilitating the Sales organization throughout the entire Quote to Close process. This involves supporting sales transactions from the initial pricing of quotes to the finalization of contract signatures.

Senior Sales Operations Analysts serve as essential partners and trusted advisors to the Sales team, ensuring that all aspects of the Quote to Close Process are executed with maximum efficiency and speed.

They are responsible for managing the documentation necessary for executing software license transactions, ensuring that revenue from customer-signed agreements is optimized for both the customer and IFS, enabling successful revenue booking.

The position requires a solid understanding of financial, legal, and technical aspects related to IFS Software Licensing and IFS Cloud Hosting Services.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Oversee, prioritize, and actively monitor assigned business opportunities for the current and upcoming quarters to guarantee timely submissions and engagement in deal strategies and negotiations.

2. Ensure compliance of sales agreements with relevant company policies, procedures, and any other necessary requirements.

3. Manage the approval workflow for sales transactions within the IFS Approval Request system.

4. Provide assistance and guidance to the Sales team regarding product configurations and pricing strategies.

5. Draft, review, and manage all documentation required for sales transactions and their approvals.

6. Act as the primary support for the sales team on revenue recognition and contractual issues related to sales transactions, liaising with Finance and Legal Departments as needed.

7. Analyze and interpret existing customer contractual documents when necessary.

8. Collaborate with all internal stakeholders involved in the execution and closure of sales transactions, including Finance, Presales, Legal, Technology Alliances, Partner Managers, Product Managers, and Corporate functions.

9. Engage with external clients and vendors at various levels concerning contract and business-related matters, as required.

10. Uphold fiduciary responsibilities to IFS.

11. Undertake additional duties and projects as assigned in relation to the Deal Desk team.
