About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced DSD Account Manager to join our dynamic team at Jobot. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing and growing our business across various channels, including grocery, convenience, and wholesale distribution.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key accounts.
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our products according to customer needs and objectives.
  • Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Forecast and track key account metrics.
  • Identify and grow opportunities within territory and collaborate with sales teams to ensure growth attainment.
  • Assist in high severity requests or issue escalations as needed.
  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders, and executive sponsors.
  • Liaise between customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a DSD Account Manager or in a similar role.
  • Proven sales experience, meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple accounts at a time while paying strict attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
  • Proven experience in the grocery channel, convenience channel, and wholesale distribution.
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment.
  • Natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability, and maturity.
  • Ability to prioritize among competing tasks.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent time and project management skills.
  • Keen attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM software, and sales analytics programs.
