Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Avionics Installer I to join our team at Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation. As an Avionics Installer I, you will assist in the removal and installation of avionics electrical components, fabrication of wire harnesses, installations, terminations, ring-out, and functional tests of avionics/electrical systems.


Key Responsibilities

  2. Assist in the installation, modification, and fabrication of wiring and electrical components, fixtures, and associated equipment in accordance with blueprints, worksheets, and engineering drawings.

  3. Assist with the completion of tasks within allotted time frames.

  4. Assist with maintaining required logs and records.

  5. Comply with the company's FOD program, tool control program, 5-S program, and all safety regulations.

Requirements

  2. High School Diploma or GED required. Entry-level position. Six (6) months accredited schooling in aviation electronics or general electrical experience preferred.

  3. General knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements and customer specifications.

  4. Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams.

  5. Strong written and verbal skills required.

  6. Computer skills and general software knowledge necessary.

  7. Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
