Drafting Specialist

Champion Home Builders Inc is seeking a skilled Drafter to join our team.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and creative Drafter to create accurate and detailed construction drawings and models for our residential projects. The ideal candidate will have experience with AutoCAD software and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create detailed construction drawings and models using AutoCAD software
- Collaborate with production and quality control staff to resolve design details and problems
- Confer with sales and third-party agencies to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
- Utilize knowledge of building materials, engineering practices, and mathematics to complete drawings
- Generate calculations for analysis of selected designs using approved software
- Submit drawings to third-party agencies for approval
Requirements:
- Associates degree from a two-year college or technical school with advanced training in AutoCAD or two to five years of work experience using the software
- AutoCAD software experience using 2015 or higher
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Team player with excellent communication skills
