Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Wiring Technician with expertise in air and electrical systems.

Location: Kent, Ohio

COMPENSATION: $19/hr

SHIFT: 6am-4pm

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Utilizing equipment safely and effectively.
  • Achieving production targets and timelines.
  • Installing electrical wiring and hydraulic systems in production units.
  • Identifying equipment malfunctions or material defects and reporting to supervisors.
  • Inspecting work pieces for quality and measuring them to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Positioning and securing components using various tools and instruments.
  • Interpreting engineering documents, blueprints, and specifications to plan assembly processes.
  • Labeling materials with appropriate job numbers and identifiers.
  • Securing work pieces with hoists, cranes, and hand tools.
  • Cleaning and preparing parts using appropriate methods.
  • Repairing products through disassembly and reassembly.
  • Completing additional tasks as assigned.
  • Willingness to work overtime and weekends as necessary to meet production demands.
Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following:

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Strong understanding of electrical wiring and installation techniques.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic systems and their installation.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
  • Proficiency in using precision measuring tools.
Physical Requirements

The physical demands for this position include:

  • Ability to stand, walk, crawl, and climb for extended periods.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 lbs. consistently.
  • Comfortable working in confined spaces.
  • Ability to work at heights up to 15 feet.
