POSITION SUMMARY

Maintain cleanliness and safety of the pool area by washing, mopping, and sanitizing the pool deck. Foster a lively and enjoyable environment for guests engaging in recreational activities by demonstrating a positive and enthusiastic demeanor. Monitor activities within the recreational facility and respond appropriately to emergencies in accordance with established procedures. Uphold and communicate the rules and regulations of the recreation area. Be vigilant for situations where guests may not be able to safely participate in activities and report to the supervisor or manager. Provide necessary assistance to guests in case of injuries until emergency medical services arrive. Collect, fold, and organize towels following company guidelines.

Document accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management; complete safety training and certifications as required. Adhere to company policies and procedures; ensure that uniform and personal appearance are neat and professional; maintain confidentiality of sensitive information; safeguard company assets. Greet and acknowledge all guests in line with company standards; anticipate and address guests' service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; express gratitude to guests sincerely. Communicate with others using clear and professional language. Build and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues. Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. Read and visually verify information in various formats (e.g., small print). Conduct visual inspections of tools, equipment, or machines to identify any defects. Access and input work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing 25 pounds or less without assistance. Manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Navigate sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces as well as stairs and service ramps. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

Related Work Experience: No related work experience.

Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS

License or Certification: CPR Certification

First Aid Certification

Fitness Equipment Certification

Any certification or training mandated by local and state agencies.
