**Job Summary**

Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Litigation Attorney to join their team in Burbank, California. As a key member of the litigation team, this individual will be responsible for representing clients in the California court system, conducting legal research, and gathering evidence for cases.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Manage day-to-day cases from filing to trial, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Provide guidance and support to the litigation team, promoting a collaborative and results-driven environment.
  • Propound and respond to discovery, ensuring compliance with court rules and regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with opposing counsel, maintaining a professional and respectful demeanor.
  • Take and defend depositions of parties and witnesses, gathering critical evidence for cases.
  • Make court appearances, representing clients with confidence and expertise.
  • Review and provide feedback on drafted documents from staff, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Prepare for and participate in trial proceedings, presenting a strong case for clients.
  • Negotiate settlements, working closely with clients to achieve favorable outcomes.
  • Participate in settlement/dispositive proceedings, including mediations and arbitrations.
  • Provide legal opinions to clients, offering expert guidance and advice.

**Required Qualifications:**

  • Minimum 1-3 years of personal injury litigation experience as an attorney.
  • Active member in good standing with the California State Bar.
  • Ability to work under strict deadlines and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capacity to handle a large case load, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
  • Strong legal research and analysis skills, with the ability to identify key issues and develop effective strategies.
  • Excellent legal writing skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Strong discovery knowledge and experience, with the ability to navigate complex court rules and regulations.
  • Experience in attending court hearings, with the ability to present a strong case and advocate for clients.
  • Experience defending Plaintiff's in depositions, with the ability to gather critical evidence and build a strong case.
  • Law and motion experience, with the ability to navigate complex court procedures and advocate for clients.
  • Well-organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines.
  • Reliable and punctual, with a strong commitment to meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
