Restaurant Supervisor Job Description

Burgermaster is a family-owned restaurant chain that has been serving locally owned, grass-fed beef burgers since 1952. We are seeking a talented and high-performing Restaurant Supervisor who is enthusiastic about growth, our core values, and supporting a great team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the manager in overseeing the operation of the restaurant, focusing on quality food and service.
  • Enforce policies and ensure employees are working in accordance with the Burgermaster way, as defined by managers and corporate.
  • Responsible for running the line and ensuring employees get their required breaks and mealtimes.
  • Assist with food costs by reducing or eliminating waste and prioritizing business needs.
  • Assist with labor costs by ensuring employees on the clock are working and the proper number of employees are working.
  • Assist with prep work and cleaning, including checklists.
  • Report issues of attitude, behavior, and attendance, ensuring situations are recorded and brought to the manager's attention.
  • Coordinate which station each team member is assigned to for the shift.
  • Act as the center of communication for the kitchen.
  • Attend Supervisor trainings as required.
Requirements:
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with food handling, safety, and other restaurant guidelines.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with Spanish language a plus.

Full-time, non-exempt position with a competitive hourly wage of $22-$26, plus tips and quarterly bonus potential.
