Key Responsibilities- Monitor and maintain a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and company policies.
- Coordinate staffing needs, communicate with staffing agencies, and ensure adequate coverage during designated shift hours.
- Verify equipment, grounds, and walls are clean and meet GMP standards.
- Monitor product quality, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
- Participate in the continuous improvement process, identifying opportunities for process enhancements and implementing changes.
- Oversee warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement procedures, SOPs, and other instructions to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Lead shift meetings to communicate quantitative and quality objectives and results.
- Assign resources based on objectives data and supply chain constraints.
- Enter data and indicators for daily department requirements.
- Communicate warehouse issues or activities to the proper departments and management when necessary.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Computer skills and basic knowledge of MS Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend English.
- 2+ years of warehouse experience.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Experience with continuous improvement processes.
- 1-2 years' experience in a leadership role.
- Bilingual Spanish/English.
This position works in a manufacturing environment with consistent exposure to cold climates, noise, and vibration. Steel-toed safety shoes, coveralls, safety glasses, and a hard hat are required.
Physical DemandsThe physical demands of this position include standing, stooping, bending, squatting, crawling, climbing stairs or ladders, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds.
