About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team at Race Communications LLC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, including maintenance, repairs, and preventative measures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with routine maintenance tasks, such as changing filters, lubricating equipment, and replacing light bulbs.
  • Perform basic repairs and maintenance of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems under supervision.
  • Inspect equipment and building systems regularly for proper functioning and report any issues to senior staff.
  • Support the execution of preventative maintenance schedules to ensure all systems and equipment are operating efficiently.
  • Assist in monitoring HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems to prevent breakdowns and maintain compliance with safety standards.
  • Track and log maintenance activities and ensure appropriate documentation is completed.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, procedures, and guidelines for building systems and maintenance activities.
  • Assist with emergency response tasks, such as fire drills, building evacuations, and addressing safety hazards.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain a safe work environment for all employees.
Requirements
  • Eligibility for US Employment without sponsorship.
  • Minimum of 18 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • A valid driver's license, subject to successful verification through a DMV check, is mandatory.
  • 1-2 years of experience in general maintenance, facilities support, or a related field required.
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems required.
  • Ability to use basic hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment required.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and building codes required.
  • Ability to travel up to 80% to multiple work sites, work overtime, weekends, holidays, or off hours as needed.
  • Fundamental understanding of network cabling required.
  • The ability to effectively communicate in English, including speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension, as necessary for effective job performance and workplace communication.
