Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team at Race Communications LLC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining and operating our facilities, ensuring the safety, cleanliness, and functionality of all building systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with routine maintenance tasks such as changing filters, lubricating equipment, and replacing light bulbs
  • Perform basic repairs and maintenance of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems under supervision
  • Inspect equipment and building systems regularly for proper functioning, reporting any issues to senior staff
Requirements
  • Eligibility for US Employment without sponsorship
  • Minimum of 18 years of age
  • High School Diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience is required
  • A valid California driver's license, subject to successful verification through a DMV check, is mandatory
  • 1-2 years of experience in general maintenance, facilities support, or a related field required
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems required
  • Ability to use basic hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment required
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and building codes required
  • Ability to travel up to 80% to multiple work sites, work overtime, weekends, holidays, or off hours as needed
  • Fundamental understanding of network cabling required
  • The ability to effectively communicate in English, including speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension, as necessary for effective job performance and workplace communication
