Position Overview

Dignity Health is seeking a skilled Tele-Radiologist to join our expanding team, offering remote services across various U.S. time zones to enhance our tele-radiology capabilities.

Position Highlights:

  • Coverage required from 1 AM to 8 AM PST (5 AM to 12 PM EST)
  • Approximately 150 shifts annually
  • California medical license is mandatory
  • Expertise in CT, MR, X-ray, and Ultrasound is essential
  • Fellowship training in Neuroradiology or Emergency Radiology is preferred

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Attractive salary with a comprehensive benefits package, including full health coverage, CME allowance, malpractice insurance, and retirement options

Salary Range: $400,000 - $600,000 per year

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Care:

  • Evaluate and manage a variety of medical conditions.
  • Formulate and execute detailed treatment strategies.
  • Conduct comprehensive medical assessments and histories.

Communication:

  • Engage effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Deliver clear and concise medical information.
  • Promote a collaborative, patient-focused healthcare approach.

Documentation:

  • Maintain precise and current patient records.
  • Record medical findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
  • Ensure adherence to coding and billing standards.

Diagnostic Procedures:

  • Order and interpret diagnostic evaluations, including lab tests and imaging.
  • Perform necessary procedures as required.
  • Work alongside specialists for further diagnostic insights.

Team Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with nursing staff, specialists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Engage in interdisciplinary team discussions and case reviews.
  • Provide consultative support to fellow healthcare providers.

Quality Improvement:

  • Participate in initiatives aimed at quality assurance and enhancement.
  • Analyze clinical outcomes for ongoing improvement.
  • Implement strategies to improve patient care and safety.

Compliance:

  • Uphold ethical and legal standards in medical practice.
  • Stay updated on healthcare regulations and compliance obligations.
  • Engage in quality audits to ensure adherence to established standards.

Continuous Learning:

  • Keep informed about advancements in medical practices.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training.
  • Contribute to the creation of clinical protocols and guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Valid and unrestricted California medical license.
  • Board eligible or board certified in the relevant medical specialty (ABMS or AOA).
  • Completion of an accredited residency program.

Compensation:
$192.00 per hour
