Telemedicine Radiologist

Position Overview

Dignity Health is seeking a skilled Tele-Radiologist to join our expanding radiology team, offering the flexibility to work from any U.S. time zone. This role is essential in enhancing our telehealth services, particularly for our West Coast operations.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Attractive salary and comprehensive benefits package, including full health coverage, CME funding, malpractice insurance, and retirement plans.
• Annual compensation range: $400,000 - $600,000.

Responsibilities Include:

Patient Care:

• Assess and manage a variety of medical conditions.
• Formulate and execute detailed treatment strategies.
• Conduct comprehensive medical evaluations and histories.

Effective Communication:

• Engage with patients, families, and healthcare teams effectively.
• Deliver clear and concise medical information.
• Promote a collaborative, patient-centered healthcare approach.

Documentation:

• Maintain precise and current patient records.
• Document clinical findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans accurately.

Diagnostic Procedures:

• Order and interpret necessary diagnostic tests, including lab work and imaging.
• Perform required procedures as necessary.
• Collaborate with specialists for further diagnostic assessments.

Team Collaboration:

• Work alongside nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and case discussions.
• Provide consultative support to fellow healthcare providers.

Quality Improvement:

• Engage in quality assurance and enhancement initiatives.
• Analyze clinical outcomes for ongoing improvement.

Qualifications:

• Possession of a valid and unrestricted medical license, preferably in California.
• Board eligible or board certified in the relevant medical specialty (ABMS or AOA).
• Completion of an accredited residency program.
• Proficiency in CT, MR, X-ray, and ultrasound imaging.

Compensation Rate:
$192.00 per hour
