About the Role:
As a Practical Nursing Specialist, you will play a vital role in our mission-driven team. This position offers a competitive pay range of $22-$25 per hour, along with a sign-on bonus of $1500 for both full-time and part-time roles. You will work in a supportive environment with a low patient-to-staff ratio, typically in group homes with an average of 3 to 4 participants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications and maintain accurate documentation while supervising staff who provide medication administration.
  • Deliver prescribed medical treatments in accordance with physician orders and provide personal care services.
  • Conduct assessments and implement healthcare services tailored to each Individual Service Plan (ISP), responding effectively to any changes in condition.
  • Provide training to staff on essential topics such as universal precautions, infection control, and medication administration.
  • Act as a liaison and advocate, collaborating with other medical professionals and external agencies to ensure comprehensive care for individuals.

Qualifications:
  • Current state TN LPN licensure or Compact License.
  • Experience in Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) and group home settings is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills to engage effectively with staff, individuals served, and their families.
