As a key member of the Thibodaux Regional Health System team, the Security Officer plays a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of patients, visitors, employees, medical staff, and property. Requirements

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • At least one year of law enforcement experience or three years of security experience
  • Current enrollment in a degree or certification program related to law enforcement (in lieu of experience)
  • Four years of active duty military service with an honorable discharge

The Security Officer will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring the security and safety of all individuals within the Thibodaux Regional Health System
  • Responding to emergency situations and incidents
  • Conducting regular security patrols and monitoring CCTV systems
  • Collaborating with other departments to maintain a secure environment

The successful candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
